Bookbinding

What do you think of when you hear coptic binding? Ethiopian, Japanesse or secret Belgian binding? Or girdle and bradel binding?

Let’s go back to 2nd century and make our own book. Why then? Because that was the first time the coptic binding was used by the Copts, known as native Christians from Egypt.

We will learn more about the story of bookbinding in a series of workshops in Cieszyn and Cesky Tesin. The workshops will be in August, September, December and January and be will tell you more details in no time.

Let’s see how we can make the books that we read, the cookbooks in our kitchen, tailoring notebook and day to day diaries:)
